Why casinos use custom poker chips?
Almost all the casinos now use custom poker chips there are a lot of advantage in customizing poker chips. The chips are not customised to look more attractive but there is a solid reason behind customizing poker chips. Casinos customize their chips so as to protect themselves from thieves. By customizing, the chips are secured and cannot be duplicated nor can it be exchanged in any other casinos apart from the casino where they are issued.
The initial expense of customizing chips may be a bit expensive but are of advantageous as no fraudulent acts can be conducted once chips are converted to custom chips by imprinting the casinos seal or initials. Without customizing chips casinos would go bankrupt as different and huge number of people come to casinos to play every day and it would be hard to keep track of the poker chips if they are not customised and the possibility for slipping extra poker chips can also be avoided as customised ships can be easily differentiated from duplicate chips. It is very hard to mock a customised chip and hence a lot of fraudulent acts can be avoided by customizing poker chips.
